Network terms for attorneys and OATH-registered representatives who accept TLC summons cases from NYC drivers through the TLC Help platform.

Last updated: October 2026

These terms apply to attorneys and non-attorney representatives ("Representatives") who join the TLC Help network.

Eligibility

  • Attorneys must be admitted and in good standing in New York and provide their registration number.
  • Non-attorney representatives must be registered with the OATH Hearings Division as required by OATH's rules (48 RCNY Chapter 6) and keep that registration current.
  • You must comply with OATH's rules of conduct for representatives, and must not claim to be an attorney or government employee if you are not.

Cases and assignments

  • We offer cases that match the coverage areas, case types and capacity in your profile. You may accept or decline each offer within the response window shown.
  • Once you accept, you are responsible for the representation, including obtaining and filing any required representative authorization and appearing at the hearing.
  • You exercise your own professional judgment. TLC Help does not direct legal strategy.
  • Keep the case status, hearing dates and outcome updated in the portal so the driver stays informed.

Fees and payouts

  • The fee for each case type, and any outcome bonus, is shown on the offer before you accept.
  • Earnings become available after the case is closed and can be requested as a payout to your chosen method.
  • Fees may be adjusted or reversed if a case is reassigned, cancelled, or not handled.

Confidentiality

Use client information only to handle the case. Don't contact drivers outside the case for other business without their consent.

Removal

We may pause or remove Representatives for unresolved complaints, missed hearings, or loss of good standing or registration.
