What we collect

  • Account details: name, email, phone, preferred language, TLC license number (optional).
  • Case information: summons photos, details read from them, your statement, documents you upload (licenses, registration, insurance, trip records, photos, video), messages, and hearing outcomes.
  • Payments: amounts and status. Card details are handled by our payment processor; we don't store full card numbers.
  • Technical data: IP address and basic logs used for security and abuse prevention.

How we use it

To read and explain your summons, check public OATH records, run your case, match you with a Representative, process payments, keep you updated, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.

AI processing

Summons photos you upload are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to extract the summons details and draft a plain-language explanation. They are used only to provide this Service.

Who sees your information

  • Your Representative sees your case, contact details and documents after they accept your case. Before that, they see only a summary without your name or documents.
  • Our case managers see cases to review and coordinate them. Access to documents is logged.
  • Service providers (hosting, payments, AI) process data on our behalf.
  • Government agencies when you ask us to act for you (for example, filing with OATH or paying TLC), or when required by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

Retention

We keep case records while your case is open and for a period afterward for legal and accounting reasons, then delete or anonymize them. You can ask us to delete your account.

Your choices

You can update your account details in the portal and contact us to access or delete your data.

Security

Documents are stored privately and served only to people with access to your case, over encrypted connections.
