For-hire service codes missing their sub-chapter letter

Chapter 59 (For-Hire Service) is split into sub-chapters 59A (vehicle owners), 59B (bases), 59C (vehicle specifications), 59D (high-volume services like app companies) and 59E (interior advertising). Codes like 59-29(B) or 59-B-16(A) were written without the sub-chapter letter or with it misplaced, so each must be matched to the most likely sub-chapter.

For-hire trip record code (sub-chapter letter left off)

This code leaves out the sub-chapter letter. Section 19 of both sub-chapter 59A (vehicle owners) and 59B (bases) covers trip records, but neither 2011 text has a paragraph (b)(5), so the exact rule cannot be identified. It concerns keeping for-hire trip records.

This code leaves out the sub-chapter letter. In the 2011 rule book, §59A-26(a) required a for-hire vehicle owner to have the vehicle inspected three times a year, at least once every four months (renewal inspections at TLC, others at any DMV-registered shop); §59B-26(a) is the matching base rule. The charge is most likely one of these two.
