Old for-hire vehicle rules (drivers, vehicles and bases)

Old Chapter 6 of the TLC rules covered the whole for-hire vehicle (car service, black car, limousine) industry: bases (§§6-04 to 6-08), vehicle owners (§§6-11 to 6-13), drivers (§§6-14 to 6-17) and personal conduct of all licensees (§6-18). It was repealed on April 1, 2011 and split three ways: drivers went to Chapter 55 (later Chapter 80), vehicle owners to sub-chapter 59A, and bases to sub-chapter 59B. The TLC's 2011 crosswalk maps old 6-xx sections to their new homes.

Unclear early-1990s for-hire vehicle code (6-030)

This code was used in 1992–1994, early in the old Chapter 6 for-hire vehicle rules. In the later texts §6-03 is license and administrative fees and §6-30 is reserved, so neither fits a violation well. No copy of Chapter 6 from before 2003 is available online, so the charge can't be identified.

Section 6-33 was 'Reserved' (empty) in both the 2004 and 2010 texts of the old for-hire vehicle rules, so this code does not match a real rule. It is most likely a typo for another Chapter 6 section (perhaps 6-13 or 6-12(k)); the charge can't be identified.
